A few days back I told my Dad about my unhappiness about the State of Affairs across the world. To which my Dad questioned: are you talking about India or generally?

I said: Well right now after seeing what has happened in the Capitol building, I am unhappy about the world as well. The last year we all know has not been great but the beginning of 2021 doesn’t look promising either.

But yes if you are asking about India, Yes I am unhappy about that as well.

(To which he had a hearty laugh) and said: Aren’t you a Bhakt anymore? No more NaMo Namah?

And I broke into laughter as well.

Well, that is not the point Papa. There are things which I absolutely applaud <s>NaMo </s>BJP government for. From infrastructure projects – such as tube metro, tunnels in the toughest terrains of India, Express Corridor, and other achievements such as OROP, abrogation of Article 370 in J&K, modernisation of Education system, consciousness towards the need of a cleaner and plastic free India and recognition of local indigenous culture of various states – there is a lot which has been commendable on their part. The results of which might take some time to showcase or gain momentum.

“But if you attribute so much progress and development to them, what exactly disturbs you?”, he quipped.

“Imbalance of forces and misuse of power”, was my immediate response. There is this sense of mistrust prevailing across the society because the system is being tweaked and twisted to suit the political benefits. The rules and law are flouted on a daily basis that might be just fine till BJP is inpower or till the time the common mass doesn’t take notice of it. But the day, it gets noticed – it is going to lead to a State of Anarchy – a huge uncontrollable rebellion. And that is my concern.

I start with the simplest of examples – I have been writing for Op-Ed in Daily Excelsior for the last 8 years now (since 2012). But never before I found this resistance against publishing an article that is anti-incumbent. And this sentiment – when you extrapolate this to the larger ecosystem – is prevalent in the National Media as well.

Isn’t the purpose of the media to present an unbiased picture of the state of affairs and make the public aware? But is that even happening? Absolutely not! We all know that Times Now being pro-BJP, NDTV anti-BJP and CNBC will stay neutral to such an extent that it would not even add value.

From Delhi riots in Feb 2020 till now about the debates around how the corona was handled in India and the release of vaccination – the media have not been able to present a true picture. This atmosphere of fear on speaking the truth or fear of being harmed on presenting unbiased facts is disturbing to say the least.

From state level to national level, everyone is observing silently – how the portfolio of ministers, governors of the states, key people at the judiciary (High Court to Supreme courts) are moved as per the “political need”. I am disturbed by this imbalance of forces and power. This movement then not becomes a tactic or a technique but a precedent for many other offices down the hierarchy.

Everyone is so busy pleasing the BJP so that they might as well get benefitted (and prevent themselves any harm) and this is showing up around. (they say sab apna chul sek rahe hain not knowing and realising this is going to come back and haunt the entire society)

Aren’t the 3 pillars of democracy – Legislature, Executive, and Judiciary supposed to work in tandem (yet not hands in gloves) and keep a check on each other?

Camouflaging and ricochet – that is my other major concern of the BJP government. There always seems to be one or the other issue be it Narcotics in Bollywood, to Kangana’s tantrums, to some protest, or discussions over trivial topics that really do not add value to the society as a whole. But the prime time, debate hours go on to discuss these for hours and days and months – Why? To sideline the attention of the public and masses from the issues of growth, development, economics and finance of the country? To digress.

As an incumbent if you are doing 1000 things right and 200 things wrong – I would be able to trust you only when you hold ownership and accountability for all 1200 things and not for those 1000 alone. And especially not by distracting people to something that is spicier but useless.

The fear that any opposition to BJP would be dealt strongly or muted forever is deadly. In fact that is exactly against the ethos of Democracy. To dissent is the core in democracy and to come to a solution unanimously and amicably is the strength. Unfortunately our core is getting suppressed and so our strength is weakening as a result.

An atmosphere where people are not allowed to speak up their mind with the fear of being silenced forever, an ecosystem where all the pillars of democracy are muddled to work to protect the incumbent, media where loud voices and shouting is allowed to set the context of a debate – is then a perfect recipe for Anarchy (Not a Superpower)! That is not India, I dream of.

This lack of trust in the system – emanating from inefficient or disloyal pillars of democracy, unavailability of right and rightful information, information overdose that confuses the public, corrupt and selfish bureaucracy and showbiz politics – is going to eat up the society like termites.

If something costs us our values and the basic DNA, that is best left to its own. And that is why what happened in Capitol Building shocks me, worries me and succumbs me to those dreadful thoughts. Because that is exactly what happens when we give so much power and weightage to one person more than the constitution itself that we as society are blinded to differentiate between right vs wrong. What if that happens in India?

Because, we all know (though subconsciously) that neither Narendra Modi (who we all love and adore 犀利士
and the man who has it all under control) nor BJP is going be at the helm of affairs forever but when the takht will topple with any other party or with people who may not have as much might as our NaMo – what is going to be the State of Affairs in our country then?

Will there be hooliganism and vandalism at the very temple of our constitution – The parliament?

So, Papa, this absence of sanity is what disturbs me! And the world surely is on a bad trip that it cannot make sense of all of this and chooses to ignore.

To all those who are supporting #CAB and to all those who stand tall against it. To all those who demand fundamental rights but fall short of fulfilling their fundamental duties. To all of us, to the Common Man - You and I are the most powerful, because we got the Right to Swing - the ballot box!

I was watching the news when #CAB bill was being discussed in the parliament and I could sense that there were mixed reactions to the announcement. Following which, the discussions turned into debates and the noise that the media makes – I finally went on to ignore the chaos on the TV channels. A few hours later, when I login to my facebook and twitter accounts – I see there is already a war waging – not knowing the fact – that the war is neither against BJP nor Congress but common man against common man.

Folks have gone to the length of sharing hatred posts – “rehne nahi denge” to which replies started pouring in full fervour “jeene nahi denge”. The so called “BJP bhakts” started resurfacing those images where Nehru is with Lady Mountbatten, him smoking a cigar (in the ‘socialist’ times he was ruling in), sharing placards with name Rahul <s>Gandhi</s> Khan. And so on so forth.

From there to here, Indian Politics on the move!

On the contrary, “Congress humanitarians” started recalling what happened in Gujarat in 2002, enchanting Hindutva agenda, the power behind BJP manifesto – “RSS ke hain yeh sab log”. And then we know what followed!

It is a matter of shame, absolute disgust that something can aggravate us to an extent that our power to empathise, our years of bonhomie and friendship, our centuries of legacy and culture can be distorted and compromised with a few provoking statements and opportunistic agenda. Be it BJP or Congress – the fact that we are swayed so easily in the name of religion makes us even worse than illiterate.

While I was watching all of this, hearing opinions and trying to make sense of what was real and what’s not – what is right and what is unfair – 3 things happened on my social media account:

a. A well-educated person constantly sharing pro-BJP videos, posts and anti-congress banners and posters – without validating what’s fact and what’s lie. The sad part – that this person is a well-educated being.

b. Ping from a few friends – on what’s my opinion about #CAB and expecting an answer to which I politely said – I do not have an opinion yet. Just because I celebrated abrogation of Article370 and Article 35 A and supported ousting of Rohingyas from Jammu, they thought supporting CAB should be an obvious option. This is even worse because it reflects us being in a misinformed state.

c. Lastly, a few folks who were sharing both sides of the coin. They came like silver shining in the cloud because hum to aam aadmi hain. Our role in society is to listen to all sides of the story, understand their ideologies and have our favorites – but definitely not (vandalising) killing in the name of our favorites. That makes us no less than nazis, fascists!

While I was absolutely saddened by what what was happening around I was even more moved by the thought that why we react the way we do and how our life and experiences shape our “school of thought”. The result of which was the series of these 3 blog posts:

Indian Politics and The Common Man – Why I hate(d) Congress because this answers how and why we chose BJP over Congress. Indian Politics and The Common Man – Why I welcome BJP and how did the sentiment stick? This answers what made BJP India’s shining star despite its apprehension of being a Hindutva party and how it still gained a complete mandate. Lastly, the blog you are reading right now – which aims to highlight the power of the Common Man!

The debates over television and the actions on the ground were getting ferocious day after day and many of the folks could not stop ranting about “How BJP has attacked democracy and secularism by passing the CAA”.

Interestingly, they forgot to remind themselves that while Democracy and Secularism have been founding pillars of the great nation India is – there is one silent yet the most powerful sentiment that made India, India and that is the weapon called ahimsa.

When the students in various universities burn the public property, why do they forget that what they are doing is unlawful and plainly barbaric. Why do they forget by fuelling fire in the nation, they are actually satisfying the agenda of political parties until and unless they are also a privy and party to the criminal offence. Above all, who gives them the right to burn the taxpayer’s money like that?

Why do we demand and expect one side justice. Why do we forget our duties while asking for our fundamental rights?

The most surprising element in this entire story that raises suspicion is the revolt came from the “educated” corners of the cities (and the country) while (the ones who are truly affected if at all someone is) the rebel should come from poor and impoverished section of the society. This makes me question the sanctity and truth behind the violence that followed the announcement of Citizenship Amendment Bill. In fact there can never be any sanctity behind any violent act.

As a common man, there is so much we can do! Only if we know and realise that all that is done in politics is to woo us – the common man – their vote bank! Let us leave them on tenterhooks. Let us watch their actions. Let us rebel in silence and protest by our work. Let us stand tall for what is right and against what is wrong. Let us fulfil our fundamental duties while we ask for our fundamental rights. Let us give them time to perform, show and prove.

But let us not give them a sense that Hindu vs Muslim is what pleases us. Let us not give them any wrong notion that we follow you blindfolded. Let us not have an iota of doubt that if they do wrong, we will still support them. Because we voted for Congress for 60 damn years (12 general elections) and we voted for BJP when Congress looted India of its shine and when the time will come we will still swing our vote again because The Common Man has the Right to Swing!

~ कर्णवीर

In this digital age, we are free to express, opine and share our thoughts. But we should be careful that:

a. We do not share any false information

b. We should not share hatred posts that hurt the sentiment of any caste, colour, religion and ethnicity or a group

c. We should not share fear-instilling posts, banners being circulated by political pages

d. We STOP giving a name (religion) to the terror! There is no terror which is Islamic or Hindu; terrorism should be left to terrorism alone.

e. We form an unbiased approach and opinion towards the political parties.

f. We do not engage in war or fights or disputes with our friends and family over political and religious issues. “They” will change their sides but you won’t be able to get them back

India has been a great nation and with massive amount of potential and young force – there will be so many external forces and elements (and some internal as well) that will try to make use of each such opportunity to break the DNA thread of India. And THE COMMON MAN has got all the power to prevent that from happening! After all “saare jahan se achcha hindustan humaara, hum bulbule hain iske; yeh gulistan humaara” Jai Hind!

Note to those: who think that just because I supported Abrogation of Article370 and Article35A and supported ousting of Rohingyas from Jammu – I am a pro-BJP or pro-Hindu or for that matter anti-Islam. Dear each one of you, before all of that I am an Indian!

“ I was 5 years old when I used to wake up to the Azaan in the nearby Mosque. We were living in Poonch in a quarter surrounded by open fields on one side and some peaks on the other side. The peaks would get covered under snow during winters and the cold winds would come crashing upon us. But during all the seasons, the sound of Azaan remained the same – non-chalant keeping us warm. And I have always been in love with that sound. That remains one of the fondest memories of my childhood. It will always be!

Today also, when I hear Azaan (in the busy metros) – I sit up right and absorb that calmness. And if I am too tired on certain days, I remain on the couch half lying saying to myself – “there’s no wrong in getting the utmost relaxation by the sound that is so divine. And In my relaxation, I offer my gratitude to you – Oh divine!”

Going back in time, Azaan became an integral part of musicals that would soothe me. When you are growing up in Jammu and Kashmir, you cannot ignore the presence of Islamic faith around. You just learn to live amicably. And it so happened that I did my entire schooling (most of it) in an Army School. Cantonment areas happen to be the most secular places in India, if you are to believe me. Yahan sab tyohaar manaye jaate hain. From Diwali to Eid and Gurupurab and Christmas. “

And under such circumstances, you literally learn and live what secularism is! I can be a pro-BJP and pro-Congress at a few points or maybe both but I can never be anti-secular (in my sentiment) at any point of time. Discrimination on any basis is (and will be) the root-cause of all the troubles we as a diverse nation will ever face.

But when we grow up we are shrouded by multiple school of thoughts and day to day news, reports and incidents and that should be kept far from generalising an entire religion or ethnicity. Hatred has no religion. No god ever teaches to hate other human beings. We have to keep check on our own insecurities, fear and prejudices. And when all of us will learn, realise and appreciate the fact – we will be at a better off place at peace and calm within and outside. And that will be our true victory!

Why I welcome BJP in 2014 and how the sentiment stuck?

In the last blog Indian Politics and The Common Man – Why I hate(d) Congress, I have expressed my concern over what really bothered me and millions of other citizens of the country as Congress neared its term completion in 2014. Now, let’s look at what made BJP the centre of attraction for the common man for the years to come!

I would like to start with the poem I wrote on 17th May 2014 when BJP came to power with complete bahoomat (mandate) and Sh. Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India. The poem goes something like this:

The entire poem talks about hope – the hope to make India a great nation it was once upon a time. All lines of the poem talk about hope except for one line (5th line) which brushes upon the fear of not turning the entire nation orange.

the confusion we all go through when elections approach

It speaks volumes about the mindset of the common man and the leap of faith all of us took to entrust our nation with BJP (which has always been painted with an image of being a Hindutva party in a nation that is secular and Hindu majority. If at all you have started believing we are a Hindu nation, I am sorry but that is a false narrative you are feeding yourself)

The entire country got together to bring BJP to power because of dismay, chaos, loot Congress had thrusted upon the citizens of its country. (and not because BJP was the most favorite alternative)

And to our confidence BJP took all the right steps that the common man of this country was craving.

It all started with The Lion, with moving wheels inside its body. Yes, I am talking about Make in India campaign where industries, investors from across the globe were invited to invest in the country in the manufacturing sector. This led to most of the States of India host an Industrial event and form their own ties, leverage their own political network to woo investment and get the wheels of development moving.

This resulted in not only movement of funds into the country but also made the presence of India felt at the centre stage of the world!

We were still absorbing this when #SwachhBharat became a movement rather than just a hashtag. From cleaning of rivers to streams and being environmentally conscious citizens, for the first time I felt we were involved in work and tasks – the citizen of a developed nation should be a part of. This united the entire India for a common cause that had previously been done only for Swaraj and Independence of the nation. While this kind of unity is required day in and day out for the country to thrive, survive and win each day!

It is very important to understand for any organisation to understand where its audience sits and what does it like/dislike. And #NaMo government leveraged digital channels like a pro to communicate about all such movements such as Clean India, Swachh Bharat campaigns. It led to campaigns such as giving up LPG subsidy, healthy female and child campaign, Clean Ganga campaign, etc. All of this did not stop here.
Setting up of toilets, stopping of open defecation in the country, rural electrification – there has been no stopping of NaMo government in addressing the basic infrastructural issues of the country – that have been pending since ages. I should not miss OROP implementation, 7th Pay Commission for govt. jobs, digitisation of the economy. While there will always be haters and critics and there should be (for healthy running of the country), I can tell you Rupay Card and digital evolution accelerated our movement towards becoming one of the superpowers of the world. Moving money digitally in a large nation like India is the first and powerful step to bring accountability into the system.

At a centre stage, building up and maintaining of relations with the Middle East, France, US along with neighbouring countries (and many more) – The NaMo government has been commendable.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP team touched upon the issues that were basic, of national (and strategic) importance and many that strengthened our clout at International platform. For the first time, we were at the driving seat instead of just being at the back seat (and watching the show passively)

BJP gave us India, all Indians were craving for – for years! So when I asked myself – why did I welcome BJP! This is what I found as an answer:

“I welcomed BJP only because there was no other option but when BJP came to power it proved that while they were power hungry, they had done a lot of home-work and preparation to come to power. They had studied the nation in and out, they had evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the nation and what bets to play on and what not to. They ensured that #thecommonman gets what s/he is deserving and longing for. They had substantial plans that waited to be executed to make India a great nation once again”

Not only that, they also ensured that their Team Cabinet works and attends assembly sessions properly and no one thinks it is ok to miss those. Setting the tone right that none of the party member finds it ok to be corrupt and promote corruption in any form. I welcome this New India.

There has been immense satisfaction to be a part of this New India! But, does that leave me to trust BJP blindly for what great they are doing to the nation? Won’t it then make us same like Congress?

To BJP haters, pro-Congress and most importantly to all of us "The Common Man" - it is absolutely important to understand how did we reach where we are!

Why I hate(d) Congress and How did we reach here!

I read many articles – since the day CAB was announced – to understand what is CAB, what are the consequences for the common man, what does it imply for Indian Muslims. I wanted to be sure that I understand it right before I put the word out in support or against CAB. I chose restraint till then. And I request you to put restraint before you form an opinion out of this article and read till the end.

However, what I observed during all these days has been terrifying. I wanted to go a layer deeper into why we chose to behave(react) the way we do. And the narration below is just one but surely major part of the whole story!

There has been unrest, violence and an air of hatred which is the most dangerous sentiment of all. The entire social media has been abuzz with #CAB posts, shares, tweets and retweets! Many of them anti-CAB and many pro-CAB! But most of them half-lies and concocted to suit particular interests.

While these posts have had my attention – I have been more moved and worried by the kind of information that has been circulating; the kind of stuff people are posting and sharing. I have been so scared of sharing any stuff that I have tried to double check the facts presented in any article and to my surprise – not many of them presented a completely unbiased picture or story. Opinions, interpretations and uncalled-for inferences presented everywhere.

In fact none of them (us) has been sharing the rightful and correct information. And what saddens me even more – very well educated folks B.Tech/Masters, etc. from NITs, IITs/IIMs and other prestigious institutes of our country are also a part of the bandwagon sharing false or provoking information. (I have started doubting if degrees and institutes define and imply Education). And if you are on twitter, your heads will be hung in shame seeing the kind of content celebrities share.

What have we made of ourselves? I cannot stop asking this question over and over.

We have been sharing inferences by media houses, versions of gossip mongers, interpretations by groups with vested interest (this side or the other – I actually do not care) and what else we have been sharing is – loads of emotion via these posts. Unfortunately none of us are sharing the right information we are entitled to.

And I wonder, yet again, what have we made of ourselves. Has too much information and easy access to information blinded us to the difference between right and wrong? Or maybe it has given us the liberty to make our choices freely without fearing for the consequences. (maybe because somewhere deep down we love to believe that we are the majority and not at the receiving end or the witch is not going to hunt us down) Sadly so!

What I do not get is – does having the right to share our sentiment and opinion means having the right to share hatred posts? Isn’t that heinous and shouldn’t that be covered under criminal offense in this digital age?

I thought a lot and a lot about these incidents and what makes people react to situations and circumstances in a particular way in one situation and absolutely differently in some other situation. What makes them choose the wrong over the right?

I think, it is what you have faced personally, what have you witnessed first hand – that makes you choose what you choose. Not politics, not inflammatory remarks, not somebody else’s pain or agony and nor anyone’s comfort – it is our own prejudices, fears and insecurities that make us choose what we choose.

All of us just go on to choose the story that suits us and feed the narrative that is already in our heads. And a lot – a lot of information over the internet has just fed these wolves absolutely the kind of information their brain was craving. And that is what has happened to all of us in this era of internet – where we want to enjoy freedom of expression but bear no responsibility of restraint!

While I heard the sentiment/emotion about CAB turning to BJP vs Congress debate to Hindu vs Muslim affair, I kept myself abstained from sharing anything on this topic. For 2 reasons:

1. There has been so much opinion (and violence) regarding this that I have not been able to make out what’s right and what’s wrong in the Amendment Act. And I am still reading to find my way out.

2. Secondly, more so because it paints everything into orange vs green. That is one fight I would not want anyone in this world to cry over. Because Humanity > Religion

But before that, let’s find out how did we reach here! I chose to go back the memory lane. Cut to 2010 – a decade back!

I was in Kashmir on a vacation with family – waiting for my joining letter to my first job – where there were protests and clampdown. The reason was the desire to disturb Annual Amarnath Yatra in the garb of land allocation that goes to Amarnath Shrine Board. (religion yet again though it was new for me then)

The localites had protested citing the change of demographic as the key reason to protest. I was appalled.

Coming from a family which has folks supporting the right, letftist, socialist and liberals over the family whatsapp group – it will be tough for you to believe that we had never debated over religion at our home. And to don a hat to understand a situation absolutely in terms of religion seemed so stupid.

But then as a matter of fact – politics doesn’t see religion – it just sees votes. It uses “religion” as a shield to swing votes. However, in this game – it ends up making the common man enemy of just another common man. It only divides.

On closely following up the issue, this turned out to be exactly the same. While I was in Kashmir, I read more and in detail about Kashmir politics and the preceding decades. And Why was everything so tensed about Kashmir.

That is how I had my first rendezvous with real-picture of Congress and its role in State politics. I do not deny that there have been good Congress leaders at State level, the policy of Congress at Centre about Kashmir has been nothing else but an extension of Appeasement politics that they have been playing across India.

And that is my first challenge with Congress! The “appeasement policy” card that they use everytime they see power running out of their hands. Then be it Muslims, minorities (SC/STs/OBCs) – under the rule of Congress the General Category – which is your typical Middle Class Indian Family is just Mango man in a Banana Republic.

A son/daughter of an IAS father and IAS grand-father (belonging to SC category) – how is he/she entitled to the benefits of a SC category, I will never get to understand. And in a vast nation like India with increasing competition; I can tell you this is a concern many have. From jobs, to education, to the posts of teachers in colleges and universities, sports, etc., “Kuch bhi ho, Bas reservation badha do.” The last trump card Congress deploys to increase(keep) its share of votes. This is a very small instance of the problem I am talking about. Scale it up and you will see more than 50% of India reeking of the consequences of such appeasement policies. Why couldn’t you create a system that makes minorities an inherent part of the nation’s DNA, plainly because it doesn’t suit your vote bank politics. You had damn 60years to do so!

If you have been in place like Jammu, you would know what it is like to face the changing demographics. In the following years from 2010 till 2014, everytime I went back home – I saw prime locations being taken over by Islamic trusts (and not even individuals). More and more IT raids happening in the homes of Hindu businessmen, more and more power vested in State controlled affairs to Muslims alone. More and more real estate at entry and exit points being transferred to people of Islamic faith. (The strategy that was deployed in late 80s before the xodus of Pandits in the valley). A complete township getting established for refugees called Rohingyas with many of them being arrested later (under BJP regime) for fake voter cards and ID cards made in a jiffy. Do you want to believe that all of this happened under the nose of the then governments without having the know-how. I cannot.

It got worse with each trip back home!

Did Congress in their entire span of ruling power of 60 years never felt the need to address any of this? Or was it just oblivion to it. In any which ways – it was a pure failure on the part of Congress.

As things fast forward, the entire india was drenched in number of scams. Only if we could forget 2G/3G, Coalgate, Commonwealth – to name a few. Here comes my second challenge with Congress – the audacity you give your team members (read Cabinet) that they can do any kind of shit and still escape with it! Being ok with the idea of corruption. How on this earth can you allow your cabinet to eat the money that is meant for the welfare of the nation and the common man. Taxpayer’s money is not your jaagir to consume.

And this leads to the 3rd challenge I have with congress – encouragement to sycophancy. What will the common man do if the entire centre runs on the sentiment “tu jaanta hai, main kaun hoon”. Bhai tu jo bhi hai – sabse pehle tu ek citizen hai. Aam nagrik!

Congress never fails to disappoint with its approach of dynast politics. Madam aur Rahul baba (the way they both are addressed in the corridors) should not get angry. Why bhai. They do not own the country. That is the reason, they do not have a legitimate heir to Congress! The party has turned out to be the shield to protect family legacy and less about what nation wants!

Last but not the least, the entire idea of India as one single nation has been missing under the Congress regime. Why so? Particularly because of divisive politics (which they often blame BJP for) but they themselves have fathomed the art like no one else. Be it regional parties, division of the states, causing public to fight amongst each other – Congress stoops to any level to stay in power or come back in power. And all that at the cost of One Great Nation India was, is and will be.

To summarise, when I think of Congress, I think of:

Truth must be told!

Appeasement Politics

Encouragement to sycophancy

Endless Corruption

Dynasty Politics

Divide and Rule

When I think of Congress, I do not think of India as a single great nation! I do not envision progress. I continue to see India that is still on bullock carts and shitting on the streets with absolutely 0 or no infrastructure.

When I think of all of this in totality – I can tell you how badly I hate Congress for what they are and what they pretend to be they are!

And that is how much badly (better say desperately) I was looking for a change of power at the centre before 2014 General Elections – just when there was a hue and cry across the nation about how Congress had looted India in preceding 10 years of it being in power!

But does all of this leaves with no option but to trust BJP blindly?
